The F-117 was licence built in Sweden by SAAB but they decided to develope it a bit. Moving the wings backward and adding front wings. The area around the jet exhausts was also altered. It was named SAAB JAS 30 Höken (The Hawk). The kit is in 1/72 scale.

Another less known fact is that Lockheed  wanted to enter the Formula One circus in 1982. It was gong to be powered by a Chevrolet engine.  It was a very successful design, much faster then any other F1 car but the whole project had to be cancelled as it was almost impossible to get any laptimes as it disappeared to the time counting machines. So the results of the F1-17 project was instead used for a stealth airplane developement. The date for the first flight of the F-117 is not really right. It was the first test of the F1-17 car and also the start for the F-117 project.

The model is in 1/43 scale using a 1/144 scale F-117 and a 1/43 scale Ferrari F1 model.
