  Canada Day 2010

OK, here's the deal.  I had a poorly painted CT-155 Hawk.  I think I used the wrong shade of blue.  Just looked wrong.  So I built a new one for the trainer group build on ARC.  Looking at the model I was getting ready to toss I realized it was not built to bad......just painted wrong.  As I had some Snowbirds decals laying around and a couple days off work I decided why not?

The kit itself is the basic Airfix CT-155 Hawk trainer built out of the box.  The decals are mostly spares from Leading Edge from the new Hawk I built and Belcher Bits decals for the snowbirds stuff.  Just a matter of placement of the blue striping and deciding the best place for the roundel.

Right, display plane with Sidewinders...........Well, the next government AFTER the one I like will no doubt cut costs to the military like they always do.  This combined with the fact we are waiting for the JSF......I figure the Snowbirds might just end up being our most combat capable fighters once our Hornets hit 35 years old.  Happy Canada Day.
