1/32 Kinetic Sabre Mk6

This was a buy on a whim kit.  Mainly due to the EXCELLENT Leading Edge decals that recently arrived at the hobby store.  If not for the decals, I doubt I would have bought the kit.  Made for yet another ARC group build, this time "Sabres".  The kit bought is for a German Canadiar Built Mk6 Sabre.  The kit is close to correct but missing the "Sugar scoops and the Orenda engine.  The kit comes with a rather nice looking US style engine.

I do not claim to be an expert on such things and lack the skills to fix it.  So I built the kit and shut my mouth.  Overall the build was very simple and easy.  Also it went together VERY fast.

The model I did was due to the EXCELLENT Leading Edge decals.  A 434 squadron Mk6 Sabre flown by the RCAF in Germany back in the early 1960s.   I chose this squadron as my next model will be a 1/32 434 squadron CF-116.

Not a IPMS winner.  But none of my kits are.  A nice simple kit that even I can make acceptable but many on ARC can make a masterpiece from.
