This is the 1/48 Kinetic E-2C Hawkeye. It took me about 7 months to complete the model. It builds up into a beautiful, and very huge model. One word of advice, use lots and lots of nose weight, especially if you're going for the folded wing option, otherwise this aircraft is going to be a tail sitter.

Some fair amount of scratch building was done on this model. Namely the landing gear hydraulic plumbing, windshield wipers, antenna wiring, static wicks, static and pitot ports, handle bars for the dome support, and some cockpit detailing.

I removed all panel lines on the fuselage. The rest of the panel lines on the wings, tail and engine were treated to an oil wash. Overall I did not "dirty" the plane too much because the real one looks quite clean.
