Story Israeli Air Force
A day during the Six Day War for the 117 Squadron in 1967. I can finally show my diorama on the
Six Day War with two Shahaks. The kit I used is the 1/48 kit from Eduard.
The first Shahak 745 of Yehuda Koren with the kill markings for two Iraqi and
one Lebanese aircraft.
The next Shahak 29 of Ezra Dotan represents a stage of service with the generator in resin for
Mirage III.
For the painting I used Alclad II polished aluminium.

Regarding the triporteur vespa used by the
Mirage mechanic in my diorama, I saw in an Osprey book on the A-4 in
Israel in 1970, a picture with the triporteur vespa, it’s original and very nice.
A cart for bombs on the left side is from Skunk
Models Workshop. All the other
airfield equipment items are from Verlinden.
I am the first man IAF fan, for the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War because for me the
Israeli pilots are the best pilots in the world. I had to accomplish it because the pilots of
Shahaks and the others in 1967 wrote an important chapter in IAF history.
A+
