Bonjour from Normandy, France.  This Airfix kit of the Spitfire Mk.XII was built OOB without any aftermarket parts.

Supermarine Spitfire F Mk XIIs of 41 Sqn

I have just added scratchbuilt harness and a thinner gunsight.  MB 882 was the last Mk.XII produced, therefore the IFF is a small blade antenna under the right wing, this meaning there is not any IFF wire running from airframe to the stabilizers. Spitfires being equipped with VHF radio set since the late Mark Ia and Mark II, and contrarily to the drawing on the box, there is no antenna from the aerial mast to the fin.

This kit is one of the easiest kits I have built.  Next one will be the Seafire Mk 17.

 Happy modelling !
