Hello all!  I won this kit on an online modeler's forum last year.  I am not an expert on BF-109s, but I thought this was a very well detailed kit out of the box, it fit together nicely, and it was fun to paint with my newly acquired SOTAR 20/20 airbrush!

I built it 99.9% out of the box.  The only addition was the swastika decals on the rudder.  Not that I approve of the negative connotation that has been associated with that symbol since it was hijacked by the Nazi party, but history is history, and I wanted to recreate it as it was for better of for worse.  Weathering was with oil paints and Tamiya weathering powders.  The antenna was EZ-line.  I highly recommend it!

I took the photos in my driveway, taking advantage of the natural light and displaying it on a base made by my 9 year old son, who also enjoys the hobby.  Thanks for looking!

CHEERS!
