Look what just landed in the back yard !! This kit had two options for markings, and since I already had four yellow helicopters, I went with the Swiss. Testors paints masked with 3M tape. There were also different equipment options. If I had my druthers, I would have tried to open the rear doors to show some of the internal detail. Even with the clear parts polished and coated with Tamiya clear it's difficult to see inside. Maybe next time.

Despite all the options and plentiful decals this was a difficult build. About the only thing that fit well were the instructions in the box. It took a lot of time to clean up and dry fit everything. A little more QC please !!

I like building helicopters, and usually make new parts for the rotors with brass rod and tubing. I got both sets to spin freely, and got the droop fairly even. I also added some extra antennas and lights for detail. I used a jet of compressed air to do the spinning for the photos.
