Hello again, here is my latest build a Fairey Swordfish Mk1 of FAA 825 Sqn HMS Victorious (Lt. Commander E. Esmonde).  This is my first bi-plane and I found it not too bad of a build, I used Tamiya aftermarket bracing and found it a bit tricky, but I got there in the end :) I also did a bit of scratch building on the tail and rudder controls using electrical wiring. I also used Tamiya photoetch set.

The painting was a bit of a challenge, Tamiya XF-21 "Sky" was used for the under surfaces and a Tamiya mix for Dark Sea Grey and Extra Dark Slate Grey for the upper surfaces which took a few attempts to achieve for my liking. I only gave the stringbag a very light weathering look this time around as I usually weather my planes more than this.  I finished it off with a fair few coats of Vallejo matt varnish.

Well I enjoyed making this one and ill be back soon with more builds. Thanks for looking.
