This is the excellent and well engineered Great Wall Hobby (G.W.H.) 1/48 F-15C. My kit represents an F-15C (SN# 85-0114) of the 58th TFS/33rd TFW based at Tabuk, Saudi Arabia during 1991 that took part in Operation Desert Storm - the U.S. led air offensive of the Persian Gulf War that drove Iraqi forces from Kuwait. Kill markings for an Iraqi MiG-29 and MiG-23 are shown.

Repli-scale decals 48-5034 33rd TFW Gulf MiG Killer #2
To represent the sun-bleached two-toned camouflage common to these planes based in Saudi Arabia during the Persian Gulf War, color modulation using dark ghost grey over light ghost grey with a neutral gray radome was used. Weathering was performed with various tints/shades of the base colors, oil filters and pin washes as well as pastels.
Enjoy!
