The Lippisch P.09 was a planned jet
fighter with two jet engines and one rocket engine in the tail. Entwurf 1 (Stage 1) was planned to take off with releasable gear, like the Me 163 had. It should land on a skid.
My idea was to show the projected aircraft with a civil painting.
The story to my fictional model could be: The almost finished prototype was successfully hidden and found some years after the war. Some aircraft enthusiasts finished it and replaced the rocket engine by a smoke generator. Because it´s so much fun to fly they called it "Spaßvogel" ("Fun bird", the meaning of the word "Spaßvogel" is jokester)....
I found no views of the first stage of the Lippisch P.09, only the later version with the retractable landing gear. So I made some modifications, as it is a "what if",
anyway.

Inside the cockpit I added a pilot figure, a seat, a stick, the instrument panel and
side panels with thrust lever.
The compressors of the jet engines I showed with self printed decals.
To make it looking faster I made the wings smaller.
I reworked the areas between the fuselage and the jet engines and removed material there and gave an aerodynamic shape to it.
Additional details are the antenna and the pitot tube.
