Hasegawa's F-15 is a classic and a good kit overall. I did another in-parallel built, where I just replaced the kit's ejection seats with resin items. Fit is pretty good overall, with only the nose section to fuselage requiring a bit of work. On the F-15C, mating the CFT's with the fuselage also required some putty and sanding work.

The F-15DJ is a 2001 JASDF aggressor, from Nyutabaru AB in Japan, operated by the Hiko Tyodo-tai unit. Paints used are Tamiya Rubber Black over Gunze H307/H308. Decals are a mixture of a DXM sheet for recent F-15J/DJ Aggressors and some bits and pieces from spare Hasegawa F-15J/DJ sheets to backdate the aircraft (it was actually aircraft '065' that carried the black spot scheme, but '068' was the closest I could get with what decals I had at hand).

The F-15C is an aircraft from the 57th FIS Black Knights, based at Keflavik, Iceland. I finished this one in the standard two-tone Compass Grey scheme (again Gunze H307/308), in the earlier higher visibility markings that the unit carried upon the F-15's arrival in Iceland, circa 1985. I used an Astra Decals sheet for the specific unit markings, helped by various high viz data decals from Revell and Academy F-15E’s. The last picture shows the aircraft with its predecessor: an F-4E from the same squadron.

Enjoy the pics!
