This was a very enjoyable
build. Kittyhawk did a very good job on this iconic trainer. The decals are
mostly from the kit. One of the "RCAF"s decals curled up on me and I
had to source a replacement. That was the only problem I had........ except!

The
clear parts are more for a World War two style Mk.2 Harvard with the added
braces in the canopy. The Harvard the decals are supplied for in the kit is a
Mk.4 built in the 50s. I know this as I have seen this plane dozens of times in
the Canadian Heritage Warplane Museum. So I sanded down the inner frames to make
the plane look more correct. The great thing about this kit. When I bought it
(at a model show at the CHWM) it also came with Eduard cockpit and a nice metal
landing gear replacement. Needless to say both those after market were also
used.
