I
made this kit seven years ago; I thought of all pilots which weren’t famous
but died in their flying machines defending a right or wrong ideal.
This
is the Me
109 G14 ASC flown by Oblt.Ernst Scheufele in 1944 with 14./JG44. Main
characteristic of the markings was the pilot's girlfriend's name on right of
fuselage:
“Peterle.” and black 13 always on two side of fuselage.

Kit
The kit is a Fujimi 1/48: good plastic and very simple to cut and work. I made this kit out of the box and only with some Eduard photoetched, a bit of putty and much patience about cockpit assembling and particulars building; no problem during assembly and no large use of putty and sandpaper. I only used it to start n° 800/1000/1200 and 1400.
Painting
The camouflage is standard three gray tone: RLM 75-74-76 with some blotches of RLM 70 on the fuselage. I started with HU 40 Pale gray as primer and after one day I given standard gunze German colors tones.
