This is my kitbash Lightning.  I used some parts of Hasegawa kit like main fuselage, vertical and horizontal tails and of course some parts of Matchbox kit like wings and u/c.

The cockpit was improved with Aeroclub white metal seat and photo-etched set, some wiring and scratch parts were also added.  The whole model was rescribed, main u/c bays were totally rebuilt, as well as rockets, air refueling probe, air brakes.  I also used Aeroclub white metal air intake and jet pipe.

The model represents the machine that flew over Gutersloh, former West Germany in the 70s.  As you can probably see some parts like the jet intake cover, nose leg door, some antennas were broken during photographing but that can be easily repaired.  I just hope that we will soon be able to see the hole new model of this great plane in the catalog of  some of the manufacturer like Revell, Hasegawa or Trumpeter.

Greetings.

Milovanovic
