Personal mount
of Major Glenn Eagleston, CO of the 353rd FS, 354 FG. Based out of
Rosieres-en-Haye, France December 1944. Ironically not a single one of his
"kills" was achieved in this plane. They were all made in P-51's.
The squadron transitioned to P-47's for a brief time, then back to P-51's
I believe.
Kit was built
out of the box with the addition of "True Detail" wheels, the
"Cutting Edge" Decal Sheet CED48231 and photoetched seatbelts
from "Eduard".

Kit
was a pleasure to build with no major hiccups along the way. Plane was
painted using mainly aeromaster acrylics and Alclad II lacquers.
Hope you enjoy my first
post.
