Ainring

Building a airfield diorama – at the end of war

It acts thereby around the airfield Ainring in Bavaria, as it would have looked.

History of the airfield airing:

Building the airfield started in 1933 and it changed the population structure and the number of inhabitants. The former German research institute for sailflight had institutes for aerodynamics, flight dynamic and separating rubbing works.  In Ainring bases for today's air and space technology were created at that time.

To the idea of my project:

There I am a fan of the association of hunting clubs 44 (JV 44) and their parrot relay, I decided to build itself such a thing.

At present the happening were on this place not only the parrot relay, but also machines (Me-109G) of the fighter wing JG 52.

The parrot relay had the task to protect the Messerschmitt Me-262 of the JV-44 (association of hunting clubs 44) during the take off and landing procedure.

I used in each case a Focke Wulf FW-190D-9 and a Revell Me-109G-10 from Tamiya.  In addition I used a tank car OPEL lightning of the Hungarian company of FM detail. The figures come from Eduard and Tamiya.  The entire Diorama is in 1/48 scale.
