1/32 Revell Typhoon

by Thanos Mentzelopoulos

--------------------

Greece Independence Day 2008

This is the old Revell kit.  Although the panel lines are raised, the rivets are wonderfully represented in plastic.  No aftermarket goods were used either in the cockpit or the engine.  Everything was scratchbuilt, including the flap detail.  Certain panels were opened around the engine bay and the cockpit, while the flaps were repositioned in the lower position. Their entire inner detail was made of plastic card and lead wire.  The model was airbrushed with Humbrol enamel paints, depicting a Typhoon of the European theatre and was very slightly weathered compared to other models I've built.
