The Hasegawa ‘car
door’ version of the Typhoon Mk1B, stock build with the exception of the
decals and the mandatory “Eduard” seatbelts. Used predominantly
“Aeromaster” acrylics with Future (called Johnston Wax Klear here in
New Zealand
) to ‘gloss up’ before decals and washes, and Humbrol enamel matt cote to
deaden everything down afterwards. “MIG Productions” pigments for the gun
and exhaust stains.
Decals are from
“Aeromaster” sheet 48491. Bought for the 486 (NZ) squadron Tempest on it,
but seeing those kits are getting hard to find. This Typhoon got in first.
