As
to the starting point, I took the mythical Hasegawa kit in 1/48 scale dedicated to
the F-14B Tomcat, adding only the resin cockpit from AIRES n° 4149. First of all I
painted the model entirely in black, and then I started
with dry cleared Light ghost grey with a few drops of white color individually
each paneling, and
after completing this stage according to about 30 cm from the
aircraft and when I finished this, I aligned everything.

Then
I masked the cockpit zone and tails and I applied the black and after
re-applied black with few drops of white, because the black color is never
black. I used the CAM decals n° 48-058 for Grumman F-14B
Tomcat BuNo 161428 of the VF-103 Jolly Rogers, CVW-17 USS Enterprise
(CVN-65) in the 1996. Finally I applied two layers of transparent paint coating.
I
applied the decals and helping me with the softening of GUNZE, after I applied
another layer of glossy transparent. Finally as you can see
from the photos, using tempering color black. At the end the result I was fully satisfied!
I hope you are too…
