Tamiya Heinkel He-219 finished with the markings of 1/
NJG1 in May 1945.

The
construction started with the cockpit as usual. The cockpit components are
painted in RLM66 by using Tamiya acrylics. Though the details of the
cockpit are well enough, I decided to modify some areas. Photo Etch instrument panel and the seat belts are from
an Eduard set.
Painting was
done with Gunze Sangyo and Tamiya acrylics. Firstly I painted the lower
surfaces black. Second step is painting upper surfaces to RLM 76.
And finally RLM 75 mottles are applied by free hand airbrushing.
The decals are
from the box.
After some
weathering it s finished by applying a matt coat from Gunze Sangyo.
