--------------------

For the 1/72 Tomcat builders.....the Twobobs have resized one of their more popular F-14 sheets.

VF-32 deployed on the USS Harry S. Truman in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the spring of 2003.  Two of their aircraft are represented on this sheet.

Both of these aircraft carry nose art and mission markings and A/C 107 is of special significance since it was modex 107.  It was painted up special in commemoration of the loss of the Space Shuttle STS-107.  A few of the complex markings have been broken up to ensure accurate registration.

Enough markings are on this sheet for two complete aircraft and references were provided directly from the unit via Jose "Fuji" Ramos.  It's been a while since a VF-32 sheet hit the shelves so enjoy these while you can!

The decals are printed by Microscale.  There is a second small decal sheet (not shown in this review) and are VERY clearly printed...especially considering this sheet is 1/72.  The more complicated decals come in 2 and even 3 layers to ensure everything lines up perfectly.  One of the jets features nose art of a Knight on the battle field with the American flag flying beside him and his sword held to a vanquished foe lying on the ground.  Above that artwork is the Latin for "God and Country".

The 2 pages of instructions tell more indepth versions of the stories behind both of these jets.  This is a great sheet with very good stories behind each jet....and their F-14's....what else could you want.  Highly recommended.

This sheet is available through http://www.twobobs.net/ and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.  Remember, shipping is always FREE to US Customers at Twobobs!!
