This new decal
sheet from Cutting Edge
Modelworks includes markings for 3 different 1/32 Bf-109 G-10's. The first
Bf-109 G-10 with 2./JG 300 flown by Fw. Wolfgang Hunsdorfer out of
Borkheide, Germany in Sept 1944. The paint
scheme is RLM 83/75 Grey/Green/Light Blue with particularly easy to
paint mottling along the
sides of the fuselage and tail and RLM 70 or 71 touch-ups. The prop spinner is
black and white with a spiral (spiral included as a decal) and the fuselage number code is "red
10" with a red fuselage band. There is amusing artwork on
the left side of the fuselage under the canopy of a puppy holding a
bomber in it's mouth. This aircraft has a small tail wheel. The second
Bf-109 G-10 with JG-52. The paint scheme
is very plain with RLM 81 or 83 on the top and Light Blue on the
underside. The prop spinner is appears to be dark green and
black. And the fuselage
band is green and white. The number on the side of the
fuselage is "yellow 11" but underneath that is an
overpainted "7" that is very faint, that you'll have to
paint with a light shade of the fuselage paint before you apply the
"yellow 11" decal. This aircraft has no antenna
mast.
