This is a test shot of Trumpeter’s 1/32 CH-47 Chinook. Trumpeter will release two Chinook kits, a Vietnam War “A” version and a modern “D” version. Trumpeter was kind enough to provide the IPMS-Philippines-Bert Anido a test shot sample for our evaluation. The test shot contains parts for both models. It came in a plastic bag with no instructions and no decals. There are some flash and some parts are warped—note however that this is  a test shot and final adjustments will still be made in the mold.

It is big. The fuselage is 18 inches long (with no rotor) and six inches across. I test fitted a 1/35 M151 Jeep and it fits perfectly.

Stay tuned, Mr. Mel Silvestre of our club will build this monster before the market release date of this kit.  The club would like to thank Trumpeter Models for this test shot.
