This Plastic Model Club Montex paint masks from Design & Marketing Int'l contains markings for 2 different 1/32 He-162 A-2's.

These are painting masks to permit you to paint all the markings on these 2 aircraft except for the Squadron crests which are included as decals.  This will give you the most accurate look to your 1/32 He-162 A-2.  Painting markings on aircraft models is not new, but until now this technique has only been done by the totally dedicated modellers.  Also included are canopy painting masks and wheel hub masks.

The first aircraft  is a He-162 A-2 "White 1" with 1/JG1. flown by Lt. Rudolf Schmitt.  The paint scheme is RLM 76 light blue on the sides and bottom of the fuselage and RLM81 and RLM 82 on the topside.  There is natural metal on the engine intake cowling ring.  There are red arrows on both sides of the nose and  a white "1" on the sides of the nose.     National insignias are included as painting masks as are all markings on these aircraft....including the red arrows for one aircraft.

The second aircraft  is a He-162 A-2 "Yellow 7" with 3/JG1.  The paint scheme is RLM 76 light blue on the sides and bottom of the fuselage and RLM81 and RLM 82 on the topside.  There are red arrows on both sides of the nose and  a yellow "7" on the sides of the nose.     National insignias are included as painting masks as are all markings on these aircraft....including the red arrows for one aircraft.

The instructions are clear and include 4 angle colour drawings to assist in painting the markings as well as the aircraft camo.

The concept of buying precut painting masks is one I find very attractive and for the larger scales this is one option well worth considering for your next project.......no more fears of decal silvering.

A very nice set of masks and will be well worth trying for anyone building a your next 1/32 He-162.
