Second
part of the great Curtiss P-40E (Kittyhawk Mk. I A) subject. The
Kittyhawk & Warhawk Part Two from Tally Ho! comes in 1/72 scale
(number 72 040) and in 1/48 scale (number 48 034). You can choose again
from five aircraft - this time one is from North Africa, one from
British Columbia, one from Aleutians and two from Northern Australia.

Amchitka, Alaska. Great sharkmouth nose art.

white "14" - "Mary Lucille" : flown by 2/Lt. Joseph H. King
with 7th FS, 49th FG USAAF, Batchelor Field, Northern Territory, Australia 1942.
Curtiss P-40E -
white "85" - "Tarheel" : 9th FS, 49th FG USAAF, Darwin,
Northern Territory, Australia 1942. Well detailed nose art (starboard side only)
of colorful dragon was used on deveral aircraft of 9th FS, 49th FG.
All the national
insignias and propeller stencils included, as well as English summary of the
instruction sheet. The sheet also includes masks for letters C and V and for
roundels.
This sheet follows
usual high quality standard. My samples are in perfect register (nose arts as
well as all roundels).
