This sheet features markings
for 2 different QF-4E Phantoms from the 53rd WEG at Tyndall AFB down in
Florida. These two jets were painted in commemorative schemes that had
been previously worn by the F-4 during it's USAF service. The Egypt 1 and
Euro 1 Wrap-around scheme are represented on these two jets. These jets
pay homage to the 60 year history of the USAF. They frequently perform at
airshows with other legacy aircraft to commemorate the rich history of the USAF.
The first aircraft is QF-4E, S/N
74-1652, 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group in May 2004. This aircraft has a
sharks mouth under the nose.
The second aircraft is
QF-4E, S/N 73-1171, 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group in March 2006.
The QF-4E is quite different
under the skin, but for modellers the main concern is what is different on the
outside of the model. In this case the differences are basically
antennas. To help you get things correct, the Twomikes
resin QF-4 conversion will permit you to accurately depict the drone
modifications that have been done to these jets.

The Phantom is very popular with
most modellers and this sheet give you options of 2 very different paint schemes

stencils for both.....so there's no need to decide which to build.....build them
both.
