This new decal
sheet from Zotz
Decals includes markings for 4
different Drakens. You get a very good variety of paint schemes from grey
to multi coloured camo to a display bird paint scheme.
The first aircraft is a J35J
Draken 35607, F10 #07 Call sign Johan Bla 07. The paint scheme is the 2
tone grey scheme with large bright orange "07" on the top of the
fuselage and tail. There is squadron artwork on the tail of a top hat
wearing skull on a playing card in a black circle.
The second aircraft is a J35J
Draken 35540, F10 #40 Call sign Johan Bla 40. This anniversary paint
scheme marks the end of the Draken operational life and is gloss blue on top and
light blue-grey on the underside. There is huge artwork on the top
side of the airframe of a top hat wearing skull with wings and swords. On
the tail is squadron artwork of a ace of hearts playing card.
The third aircraft is a J35F.1
Draken 35468, F10 #66 Call sign Johan Rod 66. The paint scheme is the
standard olive green/dark blue over light blue-grey camouflage scheme with
bright orange tail sporting a big white ghost. There is a large yellow 66
on the rear fuselage and a big yellow 10 on the nose.

airshow markings of white ghosts on the underside and white ghosts in red

There are 6 pages of instruction
sheets with 3 and sometimes 4 view colour drawings of these planes showing paint
patterns and decal placement. I appreciate the page of line drawings
showing stencil placement. The decals are contained on 2 decal sheets and
include stencils for one aircraft.
You can order this decal sheet
from the Zotz
Decals website.
The Draken has always proved to
be a popular aircraft whenever decals are released and I suspect the colourful
schemes on this decal sheet will prove to be equally popular.
