This resin and photo etch detail set from Eduard is part of the Brassin series and includes eight HVAR rockets in 1/48 scale.

The High Velocity Aircraft Rocket, or HVAR, also known by the nickname Holy Moses, was an American unguided rocket developed during World War II to attack targets on the ground from aircraft. It saw extensive use during both World War II and the Korean War.  These were used on a variety of aircraft from P-47's after D-Day to Panthers and Skyraiders in Korea.

This resin and photo etch set includes 8 HVAR rockets.  Each contains 2 resin parts and numerous photo etch parts.

There are 2 pages of instruction in the usual line drawing format that Eduard is famous for and which are so easy to follow.

You will be required to fold the photoetch in this set, but if you have one of the Hold & Fold photo etch benders from The Small Shop, then this will be an easy process.  They have a variety of benders for sharp corners as well as rounded corners and in many different sizes.

These HVAR rockets were a common weapon on allied aircraft in the ETO and PTO during WW2 and later during the Korean War.  Loading these on your model will give it a very interesting and detailed weapons load.

You can buy this resin and photo etch detail set and thousands of other items directly from the Sprue Brothers Models site They are famous for their prompt service.
