1/72 ARII Cessna T-41 Mescalero

I converted the 1/72 scale ARII Cessna 172 Skyhawk kit to a T-41 Mescalero in this scale, this is the 5th Cessna aircraft for my collection.  Those of you that have made it, I don't want mention again about the kit!

I reworked many things on this kit: like correction of the fuselage, fixing the windows, shortened the main landing gear, used putty to shape it up and many scrap parts to make the T-41 in this scale.

I made my own decals: some from an ALPS printer long time ago and some from color copy machine at Kiko's print shop.

The decal is a VNAF bird, a primary trainer for young Air cadet at Nha-Trang South Viet-Nam.

I mixed the Polyscale acrylic paint, until it look right for the color I want.

It was close enough for a T-41 Mescalero and I'm glad I made it and very happy with the results.
