My first attempt at a modern jet fighter in a long long time.  An Israeli Air Force F-15A "Baz".  Built from one of Hasegawa's older F-15C Eagle kits.  With a replacement Legend ACES-II ejection seat and decals from the Microscale "Israeli Mig Killers" (48/258) set.  Used Gunze Sangyo paints throughout, and weathered with Promodeller washes.

Depicting plane No.658 "Typhoon", (written in Hebrew on the nose) of the Double Tail Squadron.  Credited with 2 Kills, both Syrian Migs.

O Lapidot was credited with the first kill of the Lebanon War on June 7th 1982, shooting down a Mig 23 with an AIM-9 Sidewinder. Two days later G Rapaport claimed another Mig 23 destroyed with an AIM-7 Sparrow.

Thanks for looking.
