Turkey Republic Day

Hello all,

This is my 1:48 Tamiya Bf-109E-3 with some improvements such as Eduard colored seat belts and Superscale decals.

I used Gunze acyrilcs, only the RLM04 gelb was from Modelmaster.

As I read from instructions this plane was flown by a Croat pilot in Russia,1942.  The symbol for Croat Nationalists 'Ustasha' can be seen just behind nose. (the U letter above Croat flag)

The plane was painted as usual early BF 109. RLM02-65-71.  The strange point was RLM02 cover fuselage's both sides down to the skirts with RLM 71 mottles on it.

There is no much to talk about Tamiya's Bf109 family.  I believe their quality was accepted by almost all modellers.

Superscale's decals settled down well with Microsol solutions they did not create a major problem.

So, end of all, it was a fun project to me that I could finished and located on my shelf in a short time.

As always, I would like to send my regards to my dear brother Emad Tabsh from Beirut.

And off course thanks to my dear friend Sancar Buhur for passing me this kit as gift.

Happy modelling!
