1/48 Hasegawa  Erich Hartmann's  Messerschmitt  Bf109G-14

Gallery Article by Istvan Zoldag on Feb 29 2012

This is my latest model.  I used Hasegawa kit, mostly out of box with some scratch build (seat belts, antenna) details and resin wheels.  Painted with Gunze Mr. Color paints, based on the artwork of an early issue of  REVI magazine.  The weathering made with oil wash and some pastel chalks.

This airplane used by Hptm. Hartmann in the first half of February 1945 at Veszprém AB, Hungary.

He scored his 337th victory with this Gustav on February 4,1945.

It was a great fun to build!
