This is my MiG-21PF, the next in my MiG-21 collection. This one is the Academy kit without any upgrades or aftermarket stuff. The model depicts a Vietnamese AF jet during the Vietnamese war. It is in fact the airplane of an famous ace, already shown by other modellers here. It has two air-air missiles and no gun.

The kit itself isn't up to Eduard standards, which I used to build. Eduard did not have a PF so I choose the Academy kit. The decals are printed a bit off center. Rivet-counters aren't too happy with this kit also, for me it's not that important.

The painting is done with Tamiya acrylics, Revell enamels and Vallejo paints. Panellines are washed with Promodellers wash and everything got a clear coat when I finished.

It's not my best kit, but I enjoyed the build!
