This IS my 175th Phantom. Really. it is just check the gallery and count them. This build started with the 1/32 Revell F-4E.  Somehow I have never built this kit. It's not Tamiya or Hasegawa but it looks a lot like a Phantom when finished and it did not cost anywhere near as much as the Japanese wonder kits.  In fact I got this one in a massive trade with DonG some time ago.

It has the CAM resin conversion to change the E into a G.  Also comes with a much nicer looking nose cone then the well.....not so right looking kit nose from the base Revell kit.  A new rear control panel, under nose pod and tail pod finish up the resin.  Next came the SAC landing gear that I had hiding for a future Tamiya C build.  The Revell legs looked a little less sturdy then the Tamiya ones and seeing as the legs are made for the Revell kit, they got used.

Next was the Speed Hunter graphics decals to allow me to do a 1987 era Euro paint scheme.  That sheet also gives me a option for a Future Hill Grey scheme I intend to build.
