Three more builds for someone else. This time two Revell F-86 Sabres and one Hasegawa. The Hasegawa is of course a MUCH better model. Much finer detail, way less plastic flash on the tiny parts like the landing gear. Also of course with the much higher parts count, you get full intake trunking and proper exhaust as opposed to a blanked of hunk of plastic.

The Revell also appears bigger, almost too big all around. The Leading edge decals used on the fancy Sky Lancer needed a LOT of paint were they fit perfectly on a Hasegawa one I did for myself several years ago. But as nice as the Hasegawa build is they still can not for the life of them get Canadian decals right. The lettering for the squadron code and numbers is far too thick, and they gave a post 1967 Maple Leaf. Not the old school 1950s style. So I had to substitute some Leading Edge decals on the Carte Blache marked airframe. (Yellow "X") However the old school Canadian red ensign is lovely. Very nice in fact. Too bad the yellow X covers most of it.

Hopefully the customer likes them.
