This model represents the only flying C-130B of the Philippine Airforce assigned to the 220th Airlift Wing. The aircraft first flew with the USAF 773d Airlift Squadron before it was transferred to the Philippine Airforce December of 2001.

This kit is the Minicraft 1/144 C-130B which required a lot of putty and sanding on the wing roots and the area joining the canopy and the fuselage. I rescribed some panel lines that were lost during sanding. The canopy was masked with baremetal foil and a bit of liquid masking fluid. This was painted in USAF Europe I Camouflage using Vallejo Acrylics and weathered using a mix of Ammo by Mig and AK interactive products. The aerials are from trimmed photetched spares and the fine EZ Line. Decals were all printed at home using an inkjet printer.

What was supposed to be a quick build considerably took bit of time due to puttying and sanding. Overall it was a fun build.
