In the former Dutch colony the Dutch Indies (now Indonesia) the airforce there needed quick an aircraft to defend the area against the fast approaching Japanese army. We speak 1942. Outcome the Brewster Buffalo.

More then 40 were ordered but not all aircraft were shipped on time, some went to Australia after the Japanese invasion and a few were still on their way, but when shipped, they also went to Australia.

A repicla is in the army museum in Arnhem/ Holland, and I build a Hasegawa kit in 1/72. Decals by Dutch Decal. Not my masterpiece but anyway......
