As my
second contribution to ARC in 10 years I would like to present my finished
1:72 model of the Junkers Ju-88 C-6 Nightfighter. The model represents an
airplane flown by Heinrich Prinz zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, a highly successful
and decorated Nightfighter pilot of WW2.

The kit
in question is by "Revell", additionally I added correctly shaped
"Quickboost" props, replaced the plastic MG barrels with turned
"Master" ones, as well as the plastic FuG202 nose antenna with a finer
etched version from "Eduard". The "Schräge Musik" MG 151
cannons on the top of the fuselage were missing completely in the kit, so I
added them additionally as well, since they were a crucial component of
Wittgenstein's aircraft and a "trademark" of German nightfighter
aircraft.
