Mentor VT-34A Stearman Venezuelan
Air Force
The Venezuelan Air Force (FAV) bought in 1959, 41 Beechcraft T-34A Mentor,
two-seater training aircraft, which replaced the old Texan T-6G trainer. In 1987 a updating process began for the 21 T-34A that were still active. These modifications included a new engine, propellers with three blades, and other flight control instruments; the aircraft was renamed Mentor VT-34A. In 2004 the last surviving Mentors were donated by Venezuela to Bolivia.

To build the model of the Mentor VT-34A, I used Beech T-34C Turbo Mentor model from the Czech Model, in 1:48 scale, which I converted into the VT-34A by doing several scratch jobs, mainly in the parts corresponding to the engine, and tail.
The paint used is acrylic from Model Master, and the decals were made in-home.

Rafael
