  Victory Day in Turkey 2005

Hello. When I saw that highly detailed and beautiful Tamiya kit, I decided to build it out-of-the-box.

I made a short survey and found a picture of a Turkish Air Force F-84G in my archive. Building the model was straightforward without any problems-usual with most of the Tamiya Kits.  After filling and sanding, I sprayed a coat of white color onto the undersurfaces to highlight the red than sprayed the red color. Than I sprayed top of the fuselage and nose.

I masked the undersurface, top of the fuselage and nose than sprayed overall Testors Metalizer Aluminum-non buffing.  Than I made a mixture of  60% Alcohol + 10% Tamiya Black + 30%  Gloss Clear and sprayed on the panel lines to weather the plane. Finally, I fogged the overall area from a distance with thinned Testors Metalizer Aluminum and let dry for few days.  I applied decals and removed all the masks for a final coat of Future for overall protection and to give it a dull metal appearance.
