Israel IPMS held it's annual exhibition at the Israel air force museum. The museum is under-budgeted and some of the exhibits are showing signs of neglect, especially the AA section. Russian military vehicles built in the 60's and 70's didn't have much rust protection...

As usual , there was the usual line up of F15's, F16's and Bf109's , (this year no AH1' s or AH64's for a change), but one brave chap brought Monogram's 1:48 B-1,
and there were some interesting exhibits and some beautiful armour models. Attendance was down compared to previous years. Visitors to the museum were treated to a flying display - directly over the museum - by the museum's Spitfire 9 (the "black spit" - overall gloss black) and the Boeing Stearman. An F16I and AH64D were also on temporary display (This is a Jewish holiday, thats the reason for the fuss).
I am enclosing some pictures of model you don't normally see at exhibitions - Saudi BAe Hawks and Israeli helicopters - built by (Major) Ilan Varsai (got promoted in May, didn't he !) . Ra'anan Weiss , Owner of Isradecal and Isracast was there of course , he is an expert modeler but he only seems to build F15's, F16's, and F4's.
