This is the
Roden kit, my first Roden ever. The soft plastic is easy to work
with, but did require considerable sanding and filing to get proper
fit on some parts. I used Alclad dull aluminum for the cowl,
Testor's green drab for the upper surfaces, Testor's armor sand for the
lower. I have another Roden biplane to build, can't wait to finish
it now! The kit has pretty good detail for the small scale. I
built it right out of the box, except for a photo-etch prop flange.

The truck
is a 1916 Mack AC, nicknamed "Bulldog" by the GIs in WWI.
It is by RPM of Poland, and features good detail, even the engine, but
also required considerable sanding and filing to get proper fit.
This kit was also built out of the box.
Happy
modeling, and thanks for looking!
