The UH-19 Chickasaw was first built in the early fifties for the US Armed Forces.  It was extensively used by the Air Force, Navy & Marine Corps for transporting assault troops to the battle field, and the rescue mission by the Navy during the Korean war.  The UH-19A was equipped with a large winch and floats for water landings and rescue mission which stationed at the American coastal bases for emergency situation.

In building this model, I didn't follow the instruction much, the painting guide in particular. For the cockpit and passenger compartment, I painted Zinic Chromate (Green) instead of Light Gray; the rudder, I painted in red-white-red instead of yellow.  During assembly, I put on the part 9a to the nose section and for the pilot window, I had to cut the edge of part 20c & 23c in order to fit-in the model. For touch-up, I added seat belts and tail lights to make it looks realistic.

In concluding, the overall out look and the fit of the model are good. The decals are good quality and applied with no problems.
