Hello everyone.  This is my second submission to ARC.  I absolutely love this web site.  Steve does such an awesome job!  Anyway, there isn't much to say about the build.  It is an older F-4 kit.  I built this model out of the box. Nothing extra.  I didn't even use reference photos!  I had a blast building it though.  All I can say is I love the Hasegawa F-4's.  Everyone is familiar with their good and bad issues so no need to cover that.

I was in Osaka Japan when I built this kit.  I was inspired by the wonderful people in Osaka.  I never build foreign air force colors but what can I say.....this was a special occasion.  I built a Japanese Air Force fighter in Japan by a Japanese manufacturer.  It seemed right to me.  Anyway, I gave the model away to a friend in Japan because I knew it would not make the trip back to the states in one piece.  I used Mr. Color paints which were referenced on the instructions as maybe Humbrol?  The numbers matched perfectly.  I did not weather the model because I could not get a good enough sludge mix going.  I did not have all my available tools that I have at home so I made do with what I had.  The decals were in the kit.  Man there were a lot of them too.  They went down really well.  I also used a Mr. Color decal solution, it's as good as anything I have used here.  I hope you like it and please email any comments or critiques.
