This is my second Bf109 on ARC. In this case it is the G-10 type of this famous fighter.

The kit is the reference 09771 from Hasegawa, detailed with the Aires resin cockpit and the photoetched wheel wells from Eduard. A few elements were built from plasticard, like the MW-50 cowling, hydraulic lines and antennas. No problems were encountered during building, typical from this Hasegawa family.

Painting was done using various elements: Gunze acrylics for base paint, lights from base color and various spots were made adding white or grey to the base color. I reproduced the riveting using a watercolor pencil, I used watercolor pencils in the final stages of the painting process too, doing various scratches and weathering as you can see in the following photos.

Main weathering was done using oil colors in various mixtures, being it more strong in the front cowling, cockpit access and all the panels near the exhausts.

All markings were done with masks, draw with AutoCad and printed in a printer with the help of my friend Gustavo Arribas.

The auxiliary tank came from a Verlinden Kit, adding supports and feed lines from plastic strips. The canopy opening cable was done with copper wire and plastic strip, like the antenna wires.

I'm very happy with the final results of this kit, the main challenge, bring the life to a "boring" monocolor scheme was reached, I think.

Finally I'd like to dedicate this kit to all my friends in http://maquetasdeplastico.com and to all Luftwaffe fans.
