This is the initial release of this kit, of which in 2008 Revell of Germany reissued again. The kit is simply perfect, except the decals. The panel lines are crisp and detailed, fit is perfect.  Revell even includes the RLM codes for the paints with the usual Revell mixes.

The cockpit of the plane is a little bit “strange”.  According to the Revell design, the pilots should be at least 2.5m long with at least 50cm of it should be neck!  But only a little can be seen after construction.  I completed the kit with seat belts from masking tape and detailed the engine with stretched sprue.

The decals on my kit were out of register, especially at whites. There’s a very detailed decal set with the kit, but the carrier paper was yellowish and a thick residue happened to stuck on the decals. Therefore I overpainted most of the decals underneath, as the yellowing was so obvious over RLM 76.  Revell reissued this kit with new decals, and I already bought another one.  The new decals seems perfect.  This kit was definitely worth the effort.
