--------------------

Good news for all 1/32 Viper builders.  Some of the most colorful nose art relating to post 9-11 F-16's is now available in 1/32 scale.

The 389th Fighter Squadron from Mountain Home AFB, Idaho deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom shortly after 9/11.  They were the first unit to operationally use the Wind Corrected Munitions Dispenser in combat and used these to great effect against Taliban troops and the light skinned armor they encountered during their deployment.  The 389th flies the Block 52 version of the Viper.

There are enough decals on this sheet to build one complete jet from this unit but options for one of five different A/C.  Weapons loadout information is also included on the instruction sheet so you can load up your Viper with the correct weapons loadout for their missions over Afghanistan.

Lt. Col Tom Lawhead and CMSgt Andy Bauer of the 389th FS provided Twobobs with all the references they needed to make sure they got these jets right!

The decals are contained on 2 decal sheets.  1/32 is a wonderful thing when it comes to decals.....even the smallest decal is large and readable in 1/32.  Colour and registration are masterfully done.....some decals are in multiple layers to ensure even the finest lines are in the proper place.  This decal sheet has the most interesting F-16 artwork I've seen.  Highly recommended for the big scale Viper builders.

This sheet is available through http://www.twobobs.net/ and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.  Remember, shipping is always FREE to US Customers at Twobobs!!
