I've been eagerly awaiting Daco to produce a book on the F/A-18 after seeing their well respected F-16 book.    This 160 page softcover book from Daco Publications is sure to satisfy the F/A-18 modeller looking for those detail pics that can't be found anywhere else.  This book contains over 700 colour photos of the U.S. Navy, Marines, Canadian, Finnish and Spanish F/A-18 A/B and C/D Hornets.

This book is 21 x 24 cm (5,33 x 9.5 inch), contains of 160 pages and has additional 2 large foldouts ( 1 meter / 40" long) with 1/72nd & 1/48th scale and the latest cockpit lay-out drawings.

every part is given in all their detail the ATARS nose

You get all the usual detail pics as well as critical hard to find photos of areas of the plane that would get any super detailer excited.

The photos are clearly printed on glossy paper with good light and provide endless deatil of the various version of the Legacy Hornets.  The photos in this review will give you an idea of what this book has to offer....you've got to buy the book to see the larger photos.

it was even hard to choose which tails to use 16 pages of various F/A-18s in maintenance 

The photos of the cockpit and engines with the engine covers removed as well as the engines out of the jet are photos you'll be hard pressed to find anywhere else.

You get a variety of photos from different nations that fly the Hornet.

The text in this book is mostly photo descriptions to help support the wonderful photos in this book.  There are also aircraft carrier photos that will help people considering a USN diorama.
