  • A/C # 2  is LTV A-7E Corsair II 159281/NL411 with VA-27 "Royal Maces" onboard the USS Carl Vinson in 1988.  This aircraft is painted in a low-viz camo of Dark Compass Grey and Light Compass Grey.

  • A/C # 3 is LTV A-7E Corsair II 160544/NF302 with VA-93 "Ravens" onboard the USS Midway in 1986.  This aircraft is painted in a low-viz camo of Dark Compass Grey and Light Compass Grey.

  • A/C # 6 is LTV A-7E Corsair II 158011/NG307 with VA-192 "Golden Dragons" onboard the USS Ranger in 1983.  This aircraft is painted in a low-viz camo of Dark Compass Grey and Light Compass Grey.

  • A/C # 7 is LTV A-7E Corsair II 157523/NE402 with VA-195 "Dambusters" at NAF Atsugi in Japan in 1983.  This aircraft is painted in a low-viz camo of Dark Compass Grey and Light Compass Grey.

All these aircraft have squadron artwork of some sort on the tails

The instructions are beautifully printed in glossy full colour with numbered arrows showing which decals go where.  Each aircraft is shown from one angle and there is generic colour drawings showing 4 views of the A-7E which will assist in camo layout and decal placement for national insignia etc.  There is also text further explaining the camo layout.  Also included is colour samples on the instruction sheets to help the less informed modellers figure out the various FS colours.

The decals print by Cartograf come on 1 decal sheet on the 1/72 sample before me.  They are clearly and crisply printed and appear to be of the highest quality.

This is a very well done decal sheet with good variety and well worth purchasing.
